He didn't drive home right away. He sat in Cora's warm room a while longer, because there was one more thing turning in him that he couldn't leave the hill without saying, and it was the kind of thing he could only say to the one other person who knew the whole weight of it.
"There's something wrong with it," Owen said. "Cora. With breaking it. I can feel it but I can't— help me find it."
